Three Langley Blaze Alumni Selected in 2025 MLB Draft

The Langley Blaze are thrilled to celebrate a historic moment for the program, as Cam Leiter, Micah Bucknam, and Curtis Hebert were all selected in the 2025 MLB Draft, continuing the Blaze’s tradition of producing elite-level talent for the next level.

Each of these outstanding athletes has left a lasting legacy with the Blaze and now takes the next step in their baseball journey, joining the ranks of professional baseball.

Cam Leiter

A towering right-handed pitcher with electric stuff, Cam Leiter—part of baseball’s legendary Leiter family—was selected in the 4th round.  His stock skyrocketed over the past year and his selection is well-earned.

Micah Bucknam

Known for his pinpoint control and fierce competitiveness, Micah Bucknam was chosen in the 6th round. A Canadian baseball standout, Micah’s time with the Blaze helped him grow into one of the most respected arms in the country.

Curtis Hebert

A versatile and athletic right-hander, Curtis Hebert was picked in the 11th round. A former standout on the Blaze mound and in the field, Curtis combines velocity and movement with an aggressive mindset that impressed scouts throughout his time with the Blaze.
