Langley Blaze Capture Easter Classic Championship with Dominant Run

April 21, 2025 – The Premier Blaze made a statement this weekend at the annual Easter Classic, going undefeated and capturing the Easter Classic Championship Monday afternoon.

The Blaze kicked off the tournament in dominant fashion, shutting out the Coquitlam Reds 8-0 in their opening pool play matchup. The momentum carried into game two, where they blanked the Ontario Blue Jays 4-0 behind stellar pitching and timely hitting. In a tightly contested third game, the Blaze edged out the Calgary Bucks 3-2, securing a perfect record in pool play.

In the semi-final, the Blaze offence came alive once again as they defeated the White Rock Tritons 7-1 to punch their ticket to the championship game. Facing the Coquitlam Reds for the second time in the tournament, Langley delivered another strong performance, earning a 4-0 shutout to seal the title.

The weekend showcased the Blaze's depth, consistency, and lockdown defence, allowing just three runs over five games while recording three shutouts.
