Langley Blaze Capture 2026 Langley Blaze Invitational Championship

The Langley Blaze put together a dominant performance from start to finish this weekend, capturing the 2026 Langley Blaze Invitational Tournament title with an impressive undefeated run against top teams from across BC and AB.

The Blaze opened tournament play in commanding fashion, defeating the UBC Thunder 11-2 before following it up with another offensive showcase in an 11-3 victory over the Penticton Tigers. Langley continued to roll in Game 3 with a 9-2 win over the Victoria Mariners before closing out pod play with a strong 2-0 victory over the Okotoks Dawgs.

The momentum carried into the playoff round as the Blaze once again met the Victoria Mariners in the semifinal. Langley delivered another complete team effort, earning a 7-2 win to punch their ticket to the championship game.

In the final, the Blaze squared off against the Webber Wildcats and capped off the tournament in style with a 6-1 championship victory. Strong pitching, timely hitting, and solid defense proved to be the difference throughout the weekend as Langley outscored opponents 46-10 across six games.
