Blaze Alumni Tom Poole Signs with Tampa Bay Rays as NDFA

The Langley Blaze are proud to announce that Tom Poole, a 2021 graduate of the Blaze program, has officially signed with the Tampa Bay Rays as a Non-Drafted Free Agent (NDFA) following the 2025 MLB Draft.

Poole, a versatile and athletic outfielder, made a lasting impression during his time with the Blaze, where his speed, defensive range, and high baseball IQ stood out. His work ethic and determination have continued to drive his development through collegiate baseball and now into the professional ranks.  Tom also starred for the Blaze on the mound during his time in Langley.

After leaving the Blaze program, Poole continued his career at the collegiate level, showcasing his athleticism, plate discipline, and defensive versatility, which caught the attention of MLB scouts. His journey reflects the commitment and perseverance required to reach the next level.
