Langley Blaze Welcomes Mike Eskildsen to Bantam Coaching Staff

The Langley Blaze are thrilled to announce the addition of Mike Eskildsen to our coaching staff, bringing with him a wealth of experience as both a high-level player and respected coach.

Eskildsen’s playing resume speaks for itself. A graduate of the BCPBL and alum of Team BC and Team Canada, Mike went on to star at Central Arizona (NJCAA D1) before transferring to NCAA Division 1 powerhouse Florida International University. His outstanding career included a gold medal at the Canada Summer Games and selection as a 1st Team All-World 3rd Baseman at the World Championships. In recognition of his athletic excellence, Mike was named Top Male Athlete by the BC Sports Hall of Fame and was drafted by the Texas Rangers.

Since hanging up his cleats, Mike has been making a name for himself as a premier developer of talent. He spent six years coaching in Cloverdale Minor Baseball, served as a head coach at BLE Academy, and helped lead On Deck Baseball to back-to-back titles at the prestigious Best of the West tournament.

Eskildsen joins a staff committed to player development, championship culture, and preparing athletes for the next level — whether that be college baseball or professional opportunities.

Please join us in welcoming Mike to the Blaze family!
